The Hockey Experience.

"I created The Weekend Hockey Camp to personally pass on the love for hockey and show these kids that anything is possible if they never give up.
We have an amazing experience every year that is both fun and competitive, giving the kids the opportunity to hang out, be coached by, play games, and learn from professional and college hockey players!" - Hunter Johannes
HUNTER JOHANNES
Hunter was born in Spooner, WI, a small town of about 2,500 people. From there he played high school hockey for the Eden Prairie Eagles from 2015-2017 in Minnesota. He was drafted out of high school to the Lincoln Stars in the USHL where he spent two years playing juniors between the USHL and NAHL. Hunter then started his Division 1 college hockey at AIC before transferring to Lindenwood University for one year. He then transferred again to the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux to play his final year of college hockey - a dream of Hunter's since he was born, he earned the chance to play for his childhood team and go to school to continue the legacy in his family at UND. In 2024, Hunter signed his first pro contract with the Grand Rapids Griffins who are the AHL affiliate team for the Detroit Red Wings Organization.
